Gift Establishes New Center at UMB

The new Richard & Jane Sherman Center for Health Care Innovation at UMB has been established through a $1.5 million gift from two alumni, Richard Sherman, MD ’72, and Jane Sherman, PhD ’85, School of Nursing.

This Universitywide center, located in the Health Sciences and Human Services Library, will be “a place where motivated health care thinkers and doers… with diverse capabilities will find sources of intellectual property information, as well as diverse tools useful in promoting innovation.”
