UMB contracted with ARMADA Ltd. to assess our safety and security concerns. In February, members of the UMB community were asked to participate in a survey about potential risk on our campus to help ARMADA with this project.
There were 2,027 responses to the survey, which is commendable. University leadership thanks all who participated. Your input will not only help ARMADA, a national risk assessment and security solutions company, assess our current security and preparedness posture as it relates to technologies, policies, procedures, training, and awareness, but it will yield vital information to help University leadership enhance your safety.
The survey was anonymous. However, to encourage participation, those who completed the survey and chose to provide their email address were entered in a drawing for one of five $100 Visa gift cards.
The five winners are:
- Abby Detweiler
- Matthew Fischer
- Holly Hammond
- Gregory Miles
- Jordan Mullaney
Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all those participated. Once the assessment is complete, findings and recommendations will be presented to University leadership. For security purposes, the report will not be made public. We appreciate your cooperation during the assessment and your continuing efforts to help us keep UMB safe.
