Walking path through a wooded area

Did you know that Americans spend about 90 percent of their time indoors? Over the last decade, researchers have been documenting what many of us know intuitively — that nature is good for your health and well-being. Regularly immersing yourself in a natural setting — like a park, forest, or field — can reduce stress and boost immunity and energy levels.

The 30-Day Nature Challenge will promote wellness by encouraging participants to spend time in nature each day. To receive credit, you must log in to ChallengeRunner.com each day and log how much time you spent in nature that day. It is recommended that you log these minutes every evening, but participants will have up to three days to do so. The three participants with the most minutes logged will each receive a prize. This challenge is a Launch Your Life and Office of Sustainability collaboration.
