SSW Research Team Members Bellin, Whitney, Becker and Cagle Published in Palliative Medicine Reports

Associate Professors, Mel Bellin and John Cagle, together with doctoral students, Todd Becker and Laura Whitney, and a team of interprofessional scholars were recently published in Palliative Medicine Reports. The article reports findings from an interprofessional education experience to improve advance care planning skills among social work, nursing, and medical students. Outcome data from the project found that students improved their communication skills and teamwork during the experience.
