Bonjo Batoon

UMSON PhD student and BSN alum featured in article about Shock Trauma Go-Team participation.

Bonjo Batoon, BSN '98, an UMSON PhD student, was featured as the subject of an article, "Etomidate, extrication and Etsy," published Oct. 4 on EMS1.com, an online resource for the EMS community and a voice in prehospital care.

The article discusses Batoon's participation and leadership in the Unviersity of Maryland Medical Center R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Go-Team, developed to reduce the delay in delivering definitive care to entrapped victims. Once activated, the team can be transported to the scene by UMMC's ExpressCare ambulance or a helicopter from the Maryland State Police Aviation Division. The team can be sent to any incident scene in Maryland when requested by a pre-hospital clinician.

In addition, Batoon has an Etsy shop where he sells paracord stethoscope holders and other paracord-made items.
