PhD Candidate Nancy Digby Franke, alumna Caroline Harmon-Darrow, alumna Jenny Afkinich, and librarian Gail Betz have a new paper published in Criminal Justice and Behavior. The paper is a systematic literature review examining the current state of research regarding police diversion for adults. Overall, police diversion programs were associated with reducing recidivism and lowering costs, though there is little association between program participation and improved behavioral health.
