Dr. Liggett-Creel named as Strategic Diversity Plan Committee Member for UMB
Dr. Kyla Liggett-Creel will serve on UMB’s Diversity Strategic Planning Committee to contribute to the creation and development of UMB’s first Diversity Strategic Plan.
She will help lead the campus community around theme three, University Culture, Engagement, and Belonging to “create a sustainable, equitable, and inclusive culture of care that collaboratively engages and embraces all members of the University community, and the broader community, with respect and in a manner that fosters belonging, understanding, trust, and equity.”
The committee will meet monthly beginning Fall 2022 to June 2023.
