Their paper, Introduction to the Special Issue on "Financial Capability and Asset Building for Family Financial Wellbeing" provides an overview of papers in the special issue that emerged from a 2020 social work academic conference focused on financial capability and asset building. The University of Maryland, Baltimore, School of Social Work, Financial Social Work Initiative (FSWI) worked closely with partners Center for Social Development at Washington University, Grand Challenges of Social Work, and National Endowment for Financial Education to plan and support the conference and work with authors to prepare the final papers that will be published in this forthcoming issue.
