Research quality manager selected to speak at 2023 Annual Society of Clinical Research Associates Conference in Montreal, Canada.
Casey Jackson, MS, CCRP, research quality manager at the University of Maryland School of Nursing and an alumna of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, has been selected to speak at the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) annual conference in Montreal, Canada in September.
Her presentation, titled "Thinking Outside of the Box: Current Ethical Topics in Human Subjects Research,” aims to make the case for the research community to start thinking outside of the box regarding its role in research ethics. It provides a prospective survey of topics that the community will need to negotiate in our rapidly changing society, and makes an impassioned plea to recognize the hidden heroes of the research community.
