"Risk of acute care incidents for people treated for opioid use disorder with extended-release naltrexone and buprenorphine"
This study analyzed data from a large claims database and examined the effect of two drug treatments for opioid use disorder (naltrexone and buprenorphine) on the risk of an acute care incident. Both drugs decrease these risks by approximately 10%. Martin published this paper with Drs. Unick and Sacco.
