Janet Selway, DNSc, MS '88, AGNP-C, CPNP-PC, FAANP, associate professor and director, Doctor of Nursing Practice Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specialty, is an author of "Predictors of Nurse Practitioner Prescription of Opioids for Cancer Pain: Qualitative Results," published in the January/February 2023 issue of the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology. The study, exploratory in nature, provides baseline information regarding factors potentially influencing nurse practitioners' prescribing of opioids for patients with cancer.
