Professor Rick Barth and colleagues have published an analysis of the implementation of Partnering for Success.

Professor Rick Barth, along with past UMSSW faculty member Geetha Gopalan, and colleagues from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and University of Connecticut School of Social Work have published an analysis of the implementation of Partnering for Success (PfS written in significant part by the SSW's Angela Jachelski). The study explored strategies that therapists can use to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in treatment for behavioral problems in children. The results provide promising evidence that racial and ethnic disparities in CBT+ treatment receipt for behavioral problems are reduced when therapists administer and adhere to the results of standardized screening instruments and participate in clinical consultation.  PfS continues to be implemented in Maryland and is the focus of a new grant award to expand the partnership to other EBPs.
