UMSON associate professor and UMSOM clinical assistant professor serve as co-PIs on Interprofessional Education Seed Grant.


Robyn Gilden, PhD '10, MS '01, RN, associate professor and director, Environmental Health Certificate, at the University of Maryland School fo Nursing, and Snehal T. Patel, MD, MHS, clinical assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, have been awarded a $25,000 Health Equity grant as co-principal investigators for their project “Climate Change and Health Equity in Maryland: An Interprofessional Education Collaborative."

Team members include those from the Francis King Carey School of Law, UMSOM, UMSON, the University of Maryland School of Social Work, the University of Maryland, Baltimore Graduate School, and the University of Maryland, College Park. The outcome will be an online, interdisciplinary course, community partnerships, and a concluding symposium.
