Professor and associate dean for the DNP program awarded Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners grant.
Shannon K. Idzik, DNP ’10, MS ’03, CRNP, FAANP, FAAN, professor and associate dean for the Doctor of Nursing Practice program, has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners grant. It serves as an important acknowledgment of her contributions to the sustainment of nurse practitioner (NP) practice.
The $3,000 grant will fund a study of the impact of the number of NP direct care clinical hours on certification pass rates and domain scores.
