Lisa Rowen, DNSc, MS '86, RN, CENP, FAAN, professor and chief nurse executive, University of Maryland Medical System; Maeve Howett, PhD, APRN, CPNP-PC, CNE, professor and associate dean for the baccalauereate program; and Lynn Chen, PhD, assistant professor and director of evaluation, co-authored "Academy of Clinical Essentials:
A Revolutionary Nurse Staffing and Education Model" in the January 2023 issue of The Journal of Nursing Administration. The article was also co-authored by alumnae
Nicole Beeson, MS ‘21; DoRhonja Nichols, DNP ’22, MS ’18, BSN ’13; and Catherine “Cassie” O’Malley, DNP ’19, MS ’15, and other colleagues.
