Yvette Conyers, DNP, MS, RN, FNP-C, CTN-B, CFCN, CFCS, assistant professor and associate dean for equity, diversity, and inclusion, presented on "Addressing Disparities in Diabetic Foot Ulcers; Prevention and Treatment," at the National Black Nurses Association 51st Annual Institute and Conference, Aug. 1 - 6  in Atlanta.

Conyers was also recognized as a 2023 lifetime member during the closing ceremony.

Her current chapter, Rochester Black Nurses Association, won the community service award for providing outstanding services to the community during her leadership in 2022.
