Associate dean for equity, diversity, and inclusion, to join Leadership Succession Committee of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership Network.
Yvette Conyers, DNP, MS, RN, FNP-C, CTN-B, CFCN, CFCS, assistant professor and associate dean for equity, diversity, and inclusion, has been selected to join the Leadership Succession Committee (LSC) of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Leadership Network (DEILN). Her one-year term began July 1.
The DEILN aims to inform and contribute to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic nursing. Members of the DEILN desire to learn and/or to bring knowledge and experience in advancing innovative approaches to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic nursing and the nursing workforce. Individual membership is open to all faculty, administrators, and staff from AACN member schools.
As an LSC member, Conyers will seek volunteers to serve as officers and committee chairs. The LSC is be responsible for presenting the pool of volunteers to the Steering Committee.
