Yvette Conyers, DNP, RN, FNP-C, CTN-B, CFCN, CFCS, assistant professor and associate dean for equity, diversity, and inclusion, was the keynote speaker for the 3rd Rochester Black Nurses Association Scholarship and Awards Brunch, held Dec. 2 in Rochester, N.Y. The 2023 theme was "Saluting the past, celebrating the present, and securing the future." Conyers is the immediate past president and founding president of the Rochester chapter of the National Black Nurses Association.
