A Cultural of Care and Collaboration Across University and School-Based Student Affairs to Enhance Student Well-Being and Success

Abstract: There is much discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of centralized and decentralized models of student affairs. As practitioners at a graduate and professional institution, the presenters discussed how they adopted a hybrid model of student affairs delivery that centers collaboration as the vehicle to greater student well-being and success. The presentation explored the systems and culture of collaboration developed and how we successfully worked together to create a community of care that enhances the student experience.
