Erin Leech, PIEC Team's Training Specialist, Presents at MCAP Conference
The Institute for Innovation and Implementation, PIEC Team's Training Specialist, Erin Leech, presented at the MCAP (Maryland Community Action Partnership) Annual Human Services Conference on May 10th in Ocean City, Maryland. Erin introduced participants to Positive Solutions for Families (PSF), a parenting group that provides caregivers of children ages 2-5 with evidence-based strategies to build strong connections, understand behavior, and promote social-emotional development. Erin held an interactive preview session where participants had the opportunity to experience and participant in a PSF session. Participants now know how to apply to become a PSF facilitator to bring the parenting group back to their communities.
