Eun-Shim Nahm, PhD '03, RN, FAAN, FGSA, professor and associate dean for the PhD program, and Cory Stephens, DNP, MSN, RN, NI-BC, CPHIMS, FHIMSS, assistant professor, co-authored a research article with colleagues from the National Institutes of Health, which has been accepted for publication in the Frontiers in Psychiatry. The article, titled “Nature-based virtual reality (VR) intervention to manage stress in family caregivers of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients: A two-phase pilot study protocol,” explores cutting-edge VR interventions designed to support the mental health of caregivers in high-stress medical scenarios. This work underscores an ongoing commitment to leveraging technology in enhancing patient and caregiver support systems.
