Associate professor co-presents at training hosted by the Montana Primary Care Association.


Kristen Rawlett, PhD '14, FNP-BC, FAANP, CNE, associate professor, was invited by Providers Clinical Support System – Medications for Alcohol Use Disorder (PCSS-MAUD) to co-present at a PCSS-MAUD-hosted training for the Montana Primary Care Association, Nov. 7 in Bozeman, Montana.

She joined three other presenters in a presentation titled "Closing the Treatment Gap: Integrating Alcohol Use Services & Medications for Alcohol Use Disorder into Primary Care."

PCSS-MAUD is a national project funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to provide free, comprehensive training, guidance, and mentoring on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of alcohol use disorder. PCSS-MAUD aims to enhance the capacity of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates/physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, substance use disorder counseling professionals, and other health care professionals to treat individuals with AUD, including with the use of MAUD.
