Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Recipient of the Gospel Fund Committee of the School Sisters of Notre Dame Grant

The Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion has been awarded $7,500 toward implementing the Bridging Success Scholarship for students. This scholarship aims to alleviate the financial burden on Master of Social Work (MSW) students who are nearing graduation and face significant expenses associated with transitioning into the professional world.

What the Scholarship will cover:
The Bridging Success Scholarship will provide up to $100 per student (75) to help cover the costs of essential, but often burdensome, expenses related to their transition into the workforce or further education.

Impact:
The Bridging Success Scholarship will be more than a financial contribution; it will serve as a bridge that helps our MSW students successfully transition from academic life to their careers as social workers. By reducing the financial obstacles at this crucial point, we will ensure that our graduates can fully access the professional credentials they need to succeed without being hindered by additional costs.
