Assistant professor selected to present at National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties annual conference.


Veronica "Ronnie" Quattrini, DNP, MS '99, BSN '85, FNP-BC, assistant professor and senior director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program, has been selected to offer several presentations at the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) 50th Annual Conference, April 17 - 21 in Baltimore.

The NONPF Diversity Special Interest Group, of which Quattrini is chair, was selected to present a 75-minute symposium, "Exploring the Past and Revolutionizing the Future using Innovative Strategies and Accountability to Advance DEIB in APN Education."

She will also present a podium presentation, "Innovative Teaching Strategies in Nurse Practitioner Education Using ChatGPT," with first author Amanda Roesch, DNP, MPH, FNP-C, assistant professor, and podium presentation "Using Simulation to Assess Competency in Advanced Health Assessment: Strategies to Prepare DNP Students for Success" with second author Roesch.
