Students from Nurses for Global Health and Global Health Professors

Over 20 students from Baltimore and USG joined global health professors at the International Nurses Day event in D.C.


Over 20 students from the University of Maryland School of Nursing’s (UMSON) Nurses for Global Health student group joined Elias Snyder, PhD, MS ’14, NP, ACHPN, assistant professor; Charlotte Nwogwugwu, DrPH, BSN, RN, HIV PCP, CPH-BC, assistant professor and interim director, Office of Global Health; Martine Kirwin, DNP, FNP-C, RN, assistant professor, and Oluremi “Remi” Adejumo, DNP ’19, BSN ’94, RN, FIAAN, CGNC, assistant professor, for the International Nurses Day Celebration at the Pan American Health Organization headquarters in Washington, D.C., in May. 

The event included presentations and networking with nurse leaders from multiple countries throughout the Americas. UMSON had the largest group in attendance!
