Assistant professor and BSN alumna present at AACN's 2024 Diversity Symposium.
Yvette Conyers, DNP, MS, RN, FNP-C, CTN-B, CFCN, CFCS, CNE, assistant professor and associate dean for equity, diversity, and inclusion, was selected to present both a podium and poster presentation at the American Association College of Nursing's 2024 Diversity Symposium in New Orleans, Feb. 5 - 7.
The podium presentation was entitled "Enhancing Academic and Professional Development for Minority Nursing Students’ Success Using a Culturally Responsive Mentorship Program" and was co-presented with Sherry Rollins, BSN '23. The poster was entitled "UNFRAMED: Using Art to Create Inclusive Conversations."
