Richard P. Conley Jr., DNP '20, CRNA, CNE, assistant professor and assistant director, Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthesia specialty, has been appointed chair of the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists Continued Professional Certification/Maintaining Anesthesia Certification Item Writing Committee.
This is Conley's fourth year serving on this committee, which writes questions for the continuing certification programs reflecting certified registered nurse anesthetists' commitment to continuous improvement in safe, quality patient care. The duties of the chair include guiding discussions on meetings and calls, helping resolve any committee member participation issues, approving writing assignments, and filling out evaluations of committee members.
