Veronica "Ronnie" Quattrini, DNP, MS ’99, BSN ’85, FNP-BC, associate professor and senior director, DNP program, and Amanda Roesch, DNP, MPH, FNP-C, assistant professor, have had several professional achievements recently, including:

  • offering four podium presentations at the International Council of Nurses NP/APN Network Conference 2024 in Aberdeen, Scotland, in September:
    • "Enhancing Consistency in Content Delivery and Evaluation: Strategies for APN/NP Education”
    • "Innovative Strategies to Improve Clinical Judgement in Advanced Practice Nursing Education” (Dean’s Teaching Scholar award project)
    • "Improving APN Student Competency in Caring for Transgender and Gender Diverse Populations”
    • “Chattitude Matters: Strategies to Utilize ChatGPT in APN/NP Education”
  • offering a podium presentation on "Achieving Consistency in DNP Education: Strategies for Standardized Teaching and Evaluation" and a poster presentation on "Transforming Doctoral Nursing Education with Integrated Interprofessional Partnerships" at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing Doctoral Education Conference in Coronado, California, in January
  • having a peer-reviewed manuscript, "Achieving Consistency in DNP Education: Strategies for Standardized Teaching and Evaluation," accepted to Nurse Educator journal
  • being invited to serve on the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties Annual Conference Planning Committee for a two-year appointment, 2025 - 27. The committee oversees the creation of the program for the annual conference, including soliciting, reviewing, and selecting presentations and selecting the preconference, keynote speaker, and invited panels.
