Assistant professor named to the Maryland Department of Health Maryland Maternal Mortality Review Stakeholder Group.


Doris Titus-Glover, PhD, MSN, RN, assistant professor, has been named a member of the Maryland Department of Health Maryland Maternal Mortality Review (MMR) Stakeholder Group. The MMR Program is responsible for identifying maternal death cases; reviewing medical records and other relevant data; determining the preventability of deaths; developing recommendations for the prevention of maternal deaths; and disseminating findings and recommendations to policymakers, health care providers, health care facilities, and the public. They submit an annual report on the Program’s findings, recommendations, and actions to the Governor and the General Assembly.
