Post-Doctoral Fellow Selected as a Rising Star.
Jie Chen, PhD, RN, post-doctoral fellow, has been selected to participate as a "Rising Star" in the “Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease" conference in Washington, D.C, on Oct. 19 - 20. As a Rising Star, he will be paired with a senior conference attendee for a one-on-one mentoring meeting and will be recognized during the conference.
The conference is transdisciplinary, funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) on behalf of the American Geriatrics Society in cooperation with the Geriatrics and Clinical Gerontology Branch of the NIA.
