Assistant professor named a recipient of the Douglas Holmes Emerging Scholar Paper Award.


Sarah Holmes, PhD '19, MSW, assistant professor, has been named a recipient of the Douglas Holmes Emerging Scholar Paper Award from The Gerontological Society of America (GSA) and the Douglas Holmes Award Review Panel for her paper, "Care transitions among Medicare nursing home residents with and without antipsychotic medication use."

Her paper will be recognized at the Research on Quality of Care GSA Interest Group Meeting on Oct. 20, 2021, where she will give a virtual presentation of her findings.
