Anju Paudel, MGS, RN, PhD student, was awarded $5,000 by the Council for the Advancement of Nursing Science/Southern Nursing Research Society Dissertation (CANS/SNRS) Research Grant for her dissertation research, “Promoting Positive Care Interactions Between Staff and Residents with Cognitive Impairment in Assisted Living.”

The purpose of the grant, awarded once annually, is to support doctoral students as they initiate a program of nursing research to advance nursing science and practice.
