Michelle Moulton, DNP ’19, MS ’09, RN, PCCN-K, CHSE, CNE, assistant professor, and a colleague presented "Taking Aim at Good Teaching: Enhancing Cognitive Outcomes," a webinar focused on exploring classroom teaching strategies that move learners from memorization to deep understanding of content. Good teaching fosters the development of critical thinking using contemporary neuroscience principles whether learners are face to face or remote. Good teaching also necessitates integrating pedagogical strategies that align systematically to students' learning outcomes.
