Associate professor's paper wins Bovill Award at 2020 Orthopaedic Trauma Association Annual Meeting.
A paper written by Gerard Slobogean, MD, MPH, titled "Vitamin D3 Supplementation Does Not Improve Fracture Healing: A Double-Blinded Randomized Controlled Trial" won the Bovill Award at the 2020 Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) Annual Meeting.
Dr. Slobogean is an associate professor and director of clinical research in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
