MSW Student Judith Park Pens Comparative Analysis Paper on International COVID-19 Response
Judith Park, an MSW/MPH student, has written a paper with the National Health Care for the Homeless Council (NHCHC), entitled, "COVID-19 Response in Countries with Single-Payer & Implications for Impoverished Populations". In the paper, she makes the case for how single-payer health systems around the world have more effectively responded to the COVID-19 pandemic and to demonstrate why the U.S. should move towards a single-payer ’Medicare for All’ system of care.
