Nursing faculty interned with the Maryland General Assembly.
Karin Russ, MS, RN, clinical instructor, completed an academic internship with the Maryland General Assembly during the 2020 legislative session. Russ interned for Montgomery County district 19 Delegate Vaughn Stewart, preparing bill language, writing issue briefs, facilitating hearings, and coordinating constituent and advocate visits to the state capital. Russ completed the internship as part of her doctoral work at the Frances King Carey School of Law.
