UMSON's peer tutor program earns international certification
The College Reading & Learning Association’s International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) team awarded the University of Maryland School of Nursing's Peer Tutoring Program with Stage One, Level 1 certification. ITTPC provides professionals with the opportunity to create, improve, and expand tutor and peer educator training for a campus’ unique programs.
Katie Lamp, PhD, assistant director of the Student Success Center, was instrumental in preparing, assembling data, and submitting an extensive application.
