School of Social Work assistant professor receives 2020 NVDRS New Investigator Award.


School of Social Work assistant professor Laurie Graham, PhD, has been awarded a 2020 National Violent Death Reporting System (NVDRS) New Investigator Award.

The project will focus on learning more about intimate partner violence-related deaths (homicides, suicides, homicide-suicides, and fatalities resulting from law enforcement intervention in a violent incident) among young people ages 0–25 years in the United States.

Findings will guide research and practice efforts to prevent intimate partner violence-related deaths among young people.
