Nancy Bolan, PhD, MPH, FNP, CNM, assistant professor and director of the Office of Global Health, co-authored the World Health Organization’s (WHO) "Human Resources for Health-Related Challenges to Ensuring Quality Newborn Care by Nurses and Midwives in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: A Scoping Review," in February. The paper is a follow-up to WHO's "Human Resource Strategies to Improve Newborn Care in Health Facilities in Low- and Middle-Income Countries," aimed at improving the quality of care for newborns, which launched in November and was co-authored by Bolan.
