School of Social Work student announces run for Baltimore City Council.
On Jan. 31, advanced-year School of Social Work student Paris Bienert announced her candidacy for the Baltimore City Council.
Focusing on her experience with social work and as chair of the Democratic State Central Committee in the 46th District, Bienert pledged to focus on Baltimore's most underserved people.
“The circumstances of our city's most vulnerable and underserved people affect all of us. When one of us is hurting, all of us is hurting,” Bienert said.
