Rosemarie DiMauro Satyshur, PhD, RN, assistant professor, presented “Family Caregiving and Long Term Care Supports” at the American Public Health Association’s 2019 Annual Meeting and Expo, held Nov. 2-6, in Philadelphia.
Satyshur's presentation focused on addressing caregiver concerns through engaging communities to empower caregivers with resources across the lifespan, developing and distributing respite care and a family caregiver services handbook, and developing a family caregiver support program incorporating best practices and coordinating activities from existing programs.
