Shannon Idzik, DNP ’10, MS ’03, CRNP, FAANP, FAAN, associate professor and associate dean for the DNP program; Kathleen Buckley, PhD, RN, IBCLC, associate professor; Susan Bindon, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, CNE, CNE-cl, associate professor and associate dean for faculty development; Brenda Windemuth, DNP, CRNP, assistant professor and director of the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner specialty; Debra Bingham, DrPH, RN, FAAN, associate professor; and colleagues co-authored "Lessons Learned Using Logic Models to Design and Guide DNP Projects" in Nurse Educator.
Their work found that the use of logic models expands Doctor of Nursing Practice students' skills to develop and implement a successful project and supports clinical scholarship.
