Clinical instructor presents national webinar on trauma-informed care.
Sue Westgate, MBA, MSW, LCSW-C, clinical instructor, presented a national webinar in collaboration with Health Quality Innovators (HQI) entitled: “A Trauma-Informed Vision of Health Equity."
The goal of this webinar was to: make the case for the connection between bio-ethics, trauma-informed care, and management of vulnerable populations; position that case within the context of today’s complex landscape of systems of care; and challenge health care providers to rethink clinical modalities and lenses of practice in order to positively impact individual outcomes.
