Drs. Shaia and Dababnah publish book chapter.
Wendy Shaia, clinical associate professor and executive director of the Social Work Community Outreach Service, and Sarah Dababnah, assistant professor, have a new chapter published in the Encyclopedia of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Their chapter, "Participation of Black and African-American Families in Autism Research," discusses how to better engage black families in autism studies.
