#UMDejsymposium2022 will convene community members, advocates, nonprofit organizers, policymakers, researchers, and students over the course of three days for an in-depth examination of ongoing environmental and climate justice issues. The last day of the symposium will focus on issues specifically affecting the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia (DMV) region, while the first two days will examine the issues in a national context. The symposium will take place virtually on Aug. 11 and 12 and in-person on Aug. 13 at the University of Maryland Stamp Student Union.
