Be Our (Podcast) Guest
July 26, 2022The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning is planning our '22-'23 production schedule for our podcast, "Moving the Needle."
Launched in 2020, the podcast now features 15 episodes of casual conversations about teaching and learning. We cover a wide variety of instructional topics including classroom strategies, assessment, curriculum, inclusivity, preparing future faculty, and more.
We welcome classroom instructors, clinical preceptors, simulation experts, advisors, bench-side mentors, staff educators — anywhere good teaching is happening, we'd love to hear about it.
Here are a few key things to know:
- Guests work with the hosts (Erin Hagar or Dr. Scott J. Riley II) to frame the conversation and agree on interview questions in advance.
- Recordings are virtual.
- Each episode runs between 20 to 40 minutes. We block out 90 minutes to record but rarely need that much time.
- Guests review the episode before it launches.
- Guests are encouraged to promote their episode in their own personal and professional circles.
If you're interested in joining us, please fill out this brief survey, and we will be in touch. Feel free to forward this to any interested colleagues as well.
We look forward to hearing from you!
