The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy (UMSOP) completed its first-ever Giving Month in April to help generate gifts of support for its departments, programs, centers, and initiatives. The philanthropic monthlong campaign raised more than $95,000 from more than 320 faculty, staff, students, alumni, residents, fellows, and friends.

“We are so humbled by the support that the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy received during our first Giving Month,” says Natalie D. Eddington, PhD ’89, FAAPS, FCP, dean and professor of the School of Pharmacy. “A donation to the School of Pharmacy is an indication of your belief in the work that we do at the school each and every day. Because of the generosity and advocacy of our school community, we raised funds that will help us continue to provide world-class education, practice, research, and outreach. A sincere thank you to each and every person who made a donation, no matter the amount.”
