March 9: Deadline for Academic Nurse Educator Certification (ANEC) Award
February 09, 2022Full-time School of Nursing faculty who have received or renewed their National League for Nursing Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential during the prior or current fiscal years are eligible for an award of up to $5,000 from the Maryland Higher Education Commission. Nominations must be signed and submitted by the Dean.
Completed nomination packages must be received by Deborah Prout, apecial assistant to the dean by March 9, 2022. Applicants are required to provide a number documents, including a copy of their NLN Testing Score Sheet/or CNE renewal of certification letter, a letter detailing their current nurse educator functions and the impact of CNE on their role, and information as to whether they attended a NLN CNE workshop or prepared independently.
