University of Maryland, Baltimore's Environmental Services (EVS) is experiencing disruptions in the supply chain specific to custodial supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, floor finishing products, and toilet seat covers. The disruption is causing backordered items, shipping delays, and some quality differences.
During this time, you may notice supplies from alternate vendors or multiple vendors for similar products to ensure proper stock levels are maintained. Our team has partnered with FM Supply Services to monitor stock levels weekly.
We have not had disruptions with hand soap, sanitizers and disinfectants, or other custodial tools.
