Join the Student Counseling Center during Fall Kick-Off events for an hour of meditation and relaxation. Much research has shown that mindfulness meditation can reduce stress, as well as symptoms of depression, anxiety, sleep disturbance and pain.

Students are invited to drift off under simulated stars and aurora for a dop-in hour of meditation in the new Wellness Suite located in URec Fit & Wellness.

Students have the option of dropping in and meditating at their own pace, or joining a group of guided meditation facilitated by student counseling center staff. Optional guided meditation will begin at 1:10 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. 

Although walk-ins are welcome, students are encouraged to register because inside the suite is limited.
